And the winner is...

Build Week is a wrap — but what people shipped is going to stick with us for a while. Builders spent the week experimenting with Codex, shipping ideas across four tracks, and the judges had a genuinely hard time narrowing it down.

Before we get to the winners: to everyone who submitted, and everyone who built something even if you didn't get a submission across the finish line — nice work. A week isn't a lot of time, and putting something new into the world, finished or not, polished or not, is the hard part. We see the effort that went in, and we're glad you spent this week with us.

Now, the winners:

🧳 Apps for Your Life

Consumer apps for everyday life — productivity, creativity, home, family, travel, health, and personal finance.

  • 1st Place: Second Voice — Turns unclear speech from people with dysarthria into clear sentences using AI, then speaks them aloud only after the user confirms.

  • 2nd Place: AirBridge for Windows — Brings AirPlay to Windows, streaming live system audio straight to HomePods, Apple TVs, and Macs, no virtual cable needed.

📈 Work & Productivity

Tools that make teams faster or more effective — workflow automation, customer support, analytics, sales, and back-office operations.

  • 1st Place: veTriage — Turns one veterinarian's clinical triage knowledge into a step-by-step tool that helps clinic staff safely screen sick-pet phone calls.

  • 2nd Place: Pulse — Listens during a cardiac arrest and tracks rhythm, shocks, and drug timing, so the team leader can focus on the patient.

🖱️ Developer Tools

Tools for developers — testing, DevOps, agentic workflows, and security.

  • 1st Place: Echo Canvas — Lets builders design, hear, and export spatial-audio scenes right in the browser, before touching a full game-engine pipeline.

  • 2nd Place: Sentinel — Scans MCP servers for security holes before you ship, combining static rules, AI review, and sandboxed tests.

👨‍🎓 Education

Projects that push AI forward for education — for students, teachers, or educational organizations.

Congrats to all of our winners, and thank you to everyone who built alongside them this week!
