Using a hosted version of the model.

Hi there, I will be using the hosted version of the model however, for the application to be considered under the best local agent, the rules says that Useful agentic application with no internet access. However, using the hosted version will be requiring the internet. My question is that even though I use the hosted version it will still be considered under the best local agent category?
Also, I am participating in this hackathon using another email id rather than the one I used to participate with in the past. I am hoping that won't create any issues right?

Apologies for the delay. I've asked the OpenAI Team and they said the following "If you have to use a hosted version due to resource constraints as long as you can show that the rest of the logic runs locally and the default behavior is to use the model locally, that should be okay. For example if you provide an environment variable that lets you override the locally running model with the same model hosted that should be okay. You'll need to prove the solution can run offline." Hope this helps and best of luck!
